World of Warcraft: Legion

Due to the nature of this review, I will be writing it in two parts. One for long-time players and one for someone who has never picked up WoW in their life.

Very well done story; world quests (Replace daily quests); new animations; streamlined transmogrification system; immense world to explore; wide variety of quests; multiple playstyles encouraged; challenging quests and missions; gorgeous music; can play on lower end computers

Only 5 Champions when you can only collect 8; some classes got more love than others; tables are still a thing; graphics more simplistic than other MMOs; some grinding necessary to advance; monthly fees

You're the Best Around

Many of us who were a product of the '80s remember River City Ransom on the Nintendo Entertainment System. It had gaudy box art, showing men who "know kung-fu," yet it was a gem in its time.

I am prepared, actually

I am prepared, actually It always feels strange looking back to screenshots of a journey through an MMO. You are logged out. Login | Sign up To make this a more rounded review I took the brand new hero class of Demon Hunter to the new level 110 cap, and it's slowly become one of my favorites.

I've invested more time into World of Warcraft and its five expansions than any other game: My playtime across numerous characters adds up to multiple thousands of hours. As you might expect, over the years I've experienced pretty much everything the game has to offer, from pet battling through...

While it might be too much of a time commitment for my tastes, World of Warcraft: Legion is a worth follow up to the legacy the game has had for over a decade. They've made some very intelligent decisions with how you can approach content and how the expansion unfolds both for your old classes and...

World of Warcraft: Legion

Some grudge matches are worth waiting for. Ever since World of Warcraft [ official site ] launched, one of the biggest threats hanging over its head has been the return of the interdimensional demon army The Burning Legion. A force of pure chaos. An army capable of conquering a multiverse.

World of Warcraft: Legion Review

Sometimes you fight, Anduin.

Choose your own quest structure; Solo questing no longer feels lonely; Feels like a return to the early days

Chore like quests still overly prevalent

The best expansion to the epic MMORPG for a long time - and maybe the best expansion ever!

World of Warcraft: Legion Review

For years it's been safe to take digs at World of Warcraft's shortcomings relative to more modern games while still acknowledging its enduring greatness. "Sure," you could say, "Blizzard does dungeons well and there's a nice mix of in-game activities, but too bad it's not as social as it used to...
