I'm rating 5 stars because it works well, came fast and it's a beautifully done game. I don't understand why so many people are complaining about the price because that's the typical Nintendo Switch game from bigger names, especially Mario.

Yeah I know. This review took a lot longer than I originally planned. And I don't blame everyone for wondering what took me so long to write it. But what can I say about Mario Maker 2 that hasn't been said by everyone else already I will admit one thing though when it comes to this game.
It is a great game....A must for anyone that loves Mario and/or platformers (even if you are not one for creating levels, there is a lot to do in this game!)
Ever since the release of the monumental Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1985, there has been an endless desire for more 2D Mario titles. Provided you have an online membership this game is basically an unlimited amount of Mario levels, what's not to love about that.
Can Mario continue his winning streak on the Switch
Rich editor; Heaps of content in singleplayer mode, Ridiculously awesome community levels will keep you busy forever
Can be a bit intimidating for newbies initially
A much anticipated sequel to the original game on WiiU, Super Mario Maker 2 is a delight! Slopes! Many new features like slopes make creating levels much more dynamic. The story mode adds more structure for those who are not into building levels, with over 100 stages showcasing the various items and...
I love sandbox games, or pretty much any game where I get the chance to create my very own content, so it goes without saying I was pretty thrilled when they announced the new Super Mario Maker 2.
Endless level design possibilities; Levels are short and entertaining in story mode; The two-player Co-op mode; The four-player multiplayer mode; The ability to download other people's level designs; The newbie-friendly tutorial
There's a limit to how big levels can be (vertically; Not worth playing your own levels since you know them by heart
