Steelseries need to take ownership of their faults

So I got this headset and have since returned it, I will details why in the Pro's and Con's below: Pros: - Most comfortable headset ever worn. - Connection setup to console and phones is easy to do. - Audio quality is great in mid's and high's though lacking low's Con's: - The big one here is connection losses and crackly audio constantly. - Price is a bit too high for the issues it has. - Lacks phone app for audio profile tweaking. Summary: 100% not worth the money due to one fact alone and that's the drop outs and crackly audio from time to time. All the guides for fixing it on the Steel Series support website do not work to the point I did not even have my wifi router and all wireless devices on at all and it still had issues. They quote constantly that the issue is not on their end though coming from using other wireless headsets and other friends using other headsets that use the Xbox proprietary wireless protocols have never had this issue. It literally is an issue

The price is too high

It falls apart and breaks and like it’s bad quality is all I can say the price is too high for its quality so don’t get it!

Would I buy it again....meh

I purchased these a little over a month ago. Unsure if I made the right choice.... Pros. Good sound quality. Comfortable head set for long use Led red light for muted mic Cons: Using the buttons on the head piece! They are small and bunched together. Most have multi-functionality which makes adjusting difficult whilst playing. The chat mixer and volume control are too sensitive making them easy to inadvertently turn. Especially whilst reaching up to find the mute mic button. It would have been better if the mic was a flip to mute like my other headset. Although not the the headsets fault. There is currently sync issues with the Xbox X and I find it drops out or fails to connect frequently enough that I’ve had to go back to my original wired headset when doing group chat gaming activities as it’s connectivity is unreliable.

SteelSeries Arctis 9X

If you're primarily a PC gamer, the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless and the Astro Gaming A50 remain two of the best wireless headsets out there, respectively offering a double-battery base station and a useful charging cradle, along with excellent audio playback and recording out of the box.

Balanced, clear audio; Excellent microphone; Bluetooth connectivity that works alongside Xbox connection for dual audio; Comfortable design

Weak bass; Requires an Xbox Wireless Adapter to get the best performance on a PC

Great! but...

Headset is very comfortable, has great sound but my first pair just stopped working, they were stuck on the on position but they were off at the same time. Could not get to reconnect them to the Xbox so I got a second pair and so far so good, hope they don't do the same thing again.

SteelSeries Arctis 9X Review

The Arctis Pro Wireless from SteelSeries impressed us with its excellent design, audio quality, and feature set. If you want an excellent wireless headset for your PC or PlayStation 4, it's still one we can easily recommend. If you primarily game on your Xbox One, however, you can't use the Arctis Pro Wireless. That's why SteelSeries made the Arctis 9X, an Xbox One-specific wireless gaming headset that looks, feels, and sounds a lot like the Arctis Pro Wireless, but without the base station. It connects directly to your Xbox One over Microsoft's Xbox Wireless standard, and can connect to your phone or PC over Bluetooth at the same time. At $199.99 it's much less expensive than the Arctis Pro Wireless while delivering a similar experience, and so it earns our Editors' Choice for Xbox One gaming headsets. A Comfortable, Sturdy Design The Arctis 9X looks and feels almost exactly like the Arctis Pro Wireless, but with a geometric splash of green lines on the black elastic of the head...

The SteelSeries Arctis 9X is one of the best wireless gaming headsets you can get for the Xbox One.

Balanced, clear audio; Excellent microphone; Bluetooth connectivity that works alongside Xbox connection for dual audio; Comfortable design

Weak bass; Requires an Xbox Wireless Adapter to get the best performance on a PC

Amazing!

I bought this headset because I was getting annoyed of being caught on wires all the time. The mic sounds clear and high quality same with the sound. There are 4 different sound settings so you can change them depending on what you're playing/watching. The only bad thing I've encountered with this headset after having it for a long while is that the power button isn't very responsive and you sometimes have to re-press it to turn the headset on. Overall, a very good headset with very good battery life.

SteelSeries Arctis 9X review

The SteelSeries Arctis 9X is genuinely an awesome headset for Xbox One. It has great sound and build quality, with good looks to boot. PC gamers might want to look elsewhere, though.

Sound quality; Robust build quality; Nice aesthetics;

Windows 10 support isn't ideal; Green accents on the headband may be divisive

SteelSeries Arctis 9x over-ear gaming headset review

SteelSeries pretty much dominates the gaming headset market. Other companies, like HyperX , truly offer some awesome products, but with SteelSeries' lineup as comprehensive across all price ranges as it is, it's hard to imagine buying a non-SteelSeries headset for all but a few niche situations.

SteelSeries Arctis 9X gaming headset

Bluetooth headsets are oftentimes a mixed bag. Used between varied consoles, gaming rigs and other devices can be a recipe for disaster, as you contend with potential interference and other challenges when trying to find the perfect sweet spot for your gaming experience.

Slick and attractive design; Excellent audio that's easy to customise; Works seamlessly across Xbox One and PC; One of the most comfortable headsets out there

Design's reliance on plastic can be a distraction
