Most comfortable headset I've ever had, you really do get your moneys worth

Disclaimer: I purchased these through the Steelseries website. This headset was an upgrade to my 10 year old PC wireless headphones Sennheiser HDR 170. In terms of fidelity they are equal to my old headphones. Editing music sounds the same and the seem just as accurate, that said at high volume there is less distortion which in theory makes them superior. This headset was perfect for my needs. The Bluetooth paired with my phone and other devices easily. They instantly connected to the Xbox, and they connected to my PC easily. With regards to the PC I had to purchase the Xbox wireless dongle to use them as I have no Bluetooth on my PC. That said I did purchase the controller with the dongle which upgraded my gaming experience as well. Also as stated you can take a phone call whist playing a game and you can adjust the volume between them.

Is a quality product, will change your gaming world

Bluetooth headsets are oftentimes a mixed bag. Used between varied consoles, gaming rigs and other devices can be a recipe for disaster, as you contend with potential interference and other challenges when trying to find the perfect sweet spot for your gaming experience.

Design's reliance on plastic can be a distraction

The SteelSeries Arctis 9X is expensive, but it justifies its cost with premium build quality, supreme comfort, and outstanding sound quality. Its microphone is merely average, but it connects easily and consistently and it has Bluetooth, making it super versatile too.

The Arctis 9X is an excellent gaming headset that works well with both Xbox One and PC, using the platforms to its advantage to deliver a clear, concise and satisfying audio product. It costs a pretty penny, but it's almost certainly worth it.

SteelSeries pretty much dominates the gaming headset market. Other companies, like HyperX , truly offer some awesome products, but with SteelSeries' lineup as comprehensive across all price ranges as it is, it's hard to imagine buying a non-SteelSeries headset for all but a few niche situations.
