Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS review
The 90-105mm focal length is a sweet spot for macro photographers. It offers a good working distance between the subject and the end of the lens, and has a narrow enough field of view so that backgrounds can be fairly concentrated and blown nicely out of focus.

Great macro!
This is a great full-frame macro lens for Sony E-mount mirrorless camera. I've had it for a month now and I'm still amazed at some of the images it produces. The good size focusing ring also acts as the switch between manual and auto-focus settings -- just push away from the camera to engage...

a7r needs a lens like this
I have the Sony A7r and have found the canon glass and metabones adapter to be to unreliable. The camera is much happier with this lens. IQ and build quality are truly superb. It's a lot of money but completes a high spec camera system.

Very pleased with this lens. Very sharp images. I liked this product as soon as I started using it, but am finding it even more impressive as I spend more time with it. Comments about its weight and size are valid I suppose but this lens balances nicely with the a7r body. No going back!

Excellent choice for flower photography
Able to narrowly focus on key subjects. The OSS feature is useful when hand-held too and the AF/MF collar is neat. Haven't yet tried it as a medium-length portrait lens but would be surprised if it disappoints.

Fantastic Lens
Great for product photography, outdoor plant/insect macro photography or even portraits. The lens is sharp, contrasty and creates pleasing bokeh. The AF speed is fast, and it uses silent focusing mechanism so it's not noisy at all during focusing.

Amazing macro lens!
I'm a full time professional wedding photographer based in Monterey, CA. After 20 plus years of being a Canon shooter, I recently switched platforms and I'm now a Sony shooter. This particular Sony lens is sharp. Very sharp.

Sony FE 90 f2.8 Macro G lense
Ive had this lenses a coupe weeks and I am very impressed with the sharpness if this lense. I have two Gmaster lenses and the 90 macro is the sharpest with great boken, making it a great portrait lense also. The 1/1 macro is terrific and the autofocus is faster than I expected.
