This printer is not for the faint of heart. Took a few hours with tech support (very good tech support) to even figure out where the settings for the print quality, paper setup, etc.

Difficult to Set Up

I just got this printer set up, so this is an immediate review, not a longevity review. I like the small footprint, and it suits our small home printing needs. For the price, it is quiet and fast, and cheaper to run than an inkjet (if my figures are correct).

So far this printer has been the perfect choice for me. I only print an occasional email or return label and didn't need a lot of extras, this is perfect.

This is replacing another Samsung printer that I had for about 7 years. For HOME use, this is hard to beat. I bought a replacement toner cartridge(Yes Genuine Samsung) but to be honest, how long will you have this printer?

It's cheap; and it's FAST! It has the ability to attach to your system via WI-fi or USB

The paper comes out of the exit looking like it's wet; Now I'm sure that's the heat of the fuser; (do laser printers still use fusers?) I'll buy some better paper and get back to you; Also the cost of Genuine Samsung Toner; No Ethernet

The one thing I like the best about this printer is it's small footprint on the desk - I don't use a printer much these days but still need one and this size is perfect. It seems to work just fine but honestly I have had it for amount a month so can't say what two years I will think.

DON'T BUY Unless you like being data mined. I'm going to try and return this hunk of junk or if i can't break it so no one else has to put up with this crap.

Prints quickly

Really hard to restart when you run out of paper; Will not let me print unless I agree to let Samsung to data mine me

I am using a TP_Link router and this printer will not connect to it at all. I have no issues with any of my other devices. Also, I printed out about 20 pages and the toner is already 17% used up. The toner is almost the same price (I got this printer on sale) as the printer itself.

It came with no handbook had to download instructions if you was lucky to find it in English. The drivers were hard to download if you have Windows 7 . Not what I expected . I returned it to a local Staples store & bought a different brand & much better printer.
