The Nikon D5500 Digital SLR is an update to the Nikon D5300 , with a new 3.2 inch tilting LCD touch-screen, and a new, more compact body. The camera features a 24 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, with no OLPF (Optical Low Pass Filter) designed to give the sharpest image quality possible.
