A gift

I have been dreaming of finally having a real camera and I love it. It came perfectly wrapped and before it did the company answered all my question.

Nikon divides its entry-level range of D-SLRs into two tiers; the D3000 range and the slightly more advanced D5000 series. The D5500 is the latest update to the upper tier, and sees a few new tweaks and additions to its predecessor, the D5300.

Just totally wow

I wanted a more pro version camera without going into a full body design. This is definitely the camera, packed with so many features and the body is so compact and light it just grips into my hand perfectly. It's my 3rd SLR over allot of years and it's by far my best investment yet.

Does the job. Keeps a charge and is fast to re-charge.

Does what it's suppose to do. Keeps the charge and is fast to re-charge. I have a few of these for my cameras. Allows me to go shutter crazy!

Awesome DSLR

This is my first Nikon DSLR and I am very happy with it. Picture quality is excellent and the controls easy to use. The menu is easy to navigate. Touch screen is fun to use as well. The camera is reasonable light to carry during day trips and easy to handle.

Easy to use; Build quality; Battery life
