The Nikon COOLPIX AW110 is Nikon's second tough compact and bears all the key characteristics you would expect from such a model.

As we mentioned at the start of this review, Nikon is a relative newcomer to the waterproof/rugged camera scene (ironically, given the company's pioneering Nikonos film models of yore).
I TOOK GREAT PICTURES FOR MY FAMILY CRUISE VACATION WITH THIS NIKON AW110. UNDER WATER, ON THE BEACH, IN THE POOL..... LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!! WIFI SENT PICTURE TO MY IPHON, SO EASY AND SO SMART!!
Great Function Easy Use
Battery Shorter Than Othe
I bought this to replace the AW100 I lost in my house during my move. I love that my phone can connect to it and get the pics or actually take pictures. I thought the camera had wifi built in to connect to any network, not that you can only connect to it.
Easy to Use; Good Battery Life; Great Resolution; Great Zoom; Large Clear LCD; Small / Compact
Lag / Shutter Delay; No Regular Batteries
This is my first Nikon camera and I was very impressed with the options and the look of the camera. Compared to the Canon waterproof camera, this one seemed well built, solid, with great specs. It works really well during the day, the colors are vivid and the quality is good.
easy to set up; waterproof
weak flash; blurry pictures in low light
I brought this camera on a cruise to the Caribbean and carried to every event (on land and in the water). The pictures came out beautifully- the camera is easy to use so I could set the camera to get great shots everywhere.
Easy to use; Picture Quality; Waterproof
Zoom
Please don't take the how many stars too seriously as this is my initial review. I use two DSLR cameras with super high grade lenses from Canon and Olympus so I am picky, I will attempt to be fair and only compares apples to apples and not oranges :) Pros: - Great build feels solid yet light.
I have had this camera for about a year now and it is still going strong!! I hike with it multiple times a week and most of my hiking is off trail and includes a lot of scrambling. The camera has plenty of scratches due to tight squeezes and quite a few drops but it still takes perfect pics!!
So far so good. I live on a yacht and haven't gone there since I bought the camera so will test it out for underwater pictures later.
I got this camera to take on a cruise and scuba diving excursion. It appears to be real durable and of good quality. I will put it to the test in June, but very excited about it meeting my needs as of now.
