Beats announces first true wireless headphones, the Powerbeats Pro
The Powerbeats Pro headphones will make use of Apple’s advanced H1 chip
The only earbuds more recognizable than the tortured white teardrops that are AirPods might be Powerbeats. These things look like rubberized hoop earrings glued to plastic boxes, flipped upside down and strung together with a dorky wire. Well, at least they used to look like that.

Beats PowerBeats Pro
Apple’s AirPods continue to be the most widely used and sold pair of true wireless earphones, but that’s not stopping subsidiary Beats from coming up with its own pair. Enter the Beats PowerBeats Pro, which mark the brand’s first real entry into the true wireless space. Let’s get the bad out of the way first, shall we? For starters, that charging case is huge. There’s no way around it. It’s something that’s become more and more apparent as the weather is warmer and I no longer have jacket pockets to carry it around in.Beats Powerbeats Pro Totally Wireless Earphones - Black MV6Y2PA/A review
For me at personally, the AirPods are way more convenient. They fit into my life, and my pocket, much better than Powerbeats. I’ve never had any major issues working out with my AirPods, and I think they generally sound fine.Beats Powerbeats Pro Totally Wireless Earphones - Black MV6Y2PA/A review
