Let’s get the bad out of the way first, shall we? For starters, that charging case is huge. There’s no way around it. It’s something that’s become more and more apparent as the weather is warmer and I no longer have jacket pockets to carry it around in.

For me at personally, the AirPods are way more convenient. They fit into my life, and my pocket, much better than Powerbeats. I’ve never had any major issues working out with my AirPods, and I think they generally sound fine.

They are supposed to be the better alternative to Apple’s AirPods. The new Powerbeats Pro are designed for athletes and are now coming to Germany. The Powerbeats Pro will be available at the Apple Store from 6 June. The True-Wireless headphones can already be pre-ordered.

Powerbeats Pro is made for the gym, but let down by a weird fit
There are a lot of options now for true wireless exercise earbuds. Although there are certainly several tiny buds which can survive the rigours of being worn for a run, nothing beats the security you get from having an ear hook.

The sound quality on the Powerbeats Pro alone had me loving these earphones. It is like pouring velvet into your ears. The 9-hour battery will get me through anything under a 50-miler.
Pros:
- There are a few essential features when it comes to running with wireless earphones, namely sound quality, ambient noise allowance, sweat/water resistance, and battery life
- Let's knock them out
Cons:
- Over-the-ear hooks share the same real estate as sunglasses and hats
- That means it can get a little crowded and uncomfortable on the top of the ear

PowerBeats Pro maybe the alternative that AirPod lovers need even if that includes about a $50 increase. It houses the H1 chip which can provide the same connectivity, stability, and giving off a better sound while having a massive 20+ hour battery life.

The PowerBeats Pro are an excellent set of earbuds marred by a few compromises due to the large form and ear attachment. They sound good, last a long time between charges, have rock-solid connectivity and an excellent set of controls.
