I upgraded to this because of the recommendation the abt employee gave. Plus my old router was from 2006. Easy to set up and easy web app to configure and download any updates. I have an Xbox one that gets a lot of online play, a few Phones and a couple of computers linked to this without problems.

This is rated as one of the best routers on many sites, and it did not disappoint. We use both freqs that the router provides. 5Ghz upstairs where the router is and then 2.4GHz downstairs and it works perfectly.

Even though it comes with setup CD you don't need it. I just connected the Ethernet cable to my laptop and entered 192.168.1.1 in my browser address and set up my wi-fi there. It's pretty straight forward.

i brought this router for personal use and it is easy to set up even for the novice with great wifi reception throughout the house even plugged in my printer via the USB port to the network for everyone to use With the Asus app, you can monitor your internet via your phone which is a great feature...

Easy to setup and use, good speed and range. Your wifi may disconnect periodically after updating the firmware, just perform a factory reset and the problem should be fixed (you will still retain the updated firmware).
