Simple to set up. Signal strength far more powerful than my old Trendnet. No need to reset in the 2 weeks it's been in action. Actual wireless transmission speeds more than 10 mbps upload and download -- more than twice my old Trendnet.

I paid a lot of money for this product. In the $200 range which I'd consider a large purchase. I read a lot of reviews on it prior to and it was often times ranked #1 in the market.
I love my new router. It has been in service for 2 weeks and I have a house full of wireless devices and I can already tell that my bandwidth load handling is better. You do get what you pay for and this was definitely worth it.
Don't buy unless you are willing to junk it when it stops working--product became unusable after 6 months and it is impossible to reach their tech support (I have wasted hours trying to reach).
Initially (when it worked) high speed; even when not using AC protocol; Good software interface
Wireless became highly unstable, dropping devices and/or not letting them connect, after 6 months; After 9 months, wireless did not work at all; TECH SUPPORT IS WORTHLESS--they do not answer; DO NOT BUY FROM ASUS, WHICH DOES NOT SUPPORT USERS
Solid router with easy to configure settings. If you are a money no object fibre user then this router is for you. With its easy to use manuals and intuitive onboard software you can be up and running in no time.
This is a great router for any network but performs even better if you have an AC network in the office or at home. It is easy to setup and the performance is excellent. With ASUS you know that you have quality and reliability. They are also known for keeping their firmware up to date.
I've had this router for 4 weeks now. It was purchased as a replacement for a Belkin AC1200 (which was an awful router) and the Belkin was a replacement for a BT HH3. Initially, I was very disappointed with the router. It required a reboot every morning.
i had a top of the line netgear 600n router that wouldnt reach across my house. This one does it no problem. It does have an available (super antenna) I may purchase to try and cover my outside yard as well.
Easy setup; Powerful Antenae
This is Asus' first 802.11ac wireless router. While Asus is primarily known for its laptops, tablets and smartphones the company has also been carving out a niche for itself in the router market.
The fastest wireless ac router yet; Excellent 802.11n speed and range; Intuitive user interface; Fast; simple setup and management
No USB 3.0 ports; Lacks true Cloud platform of D-Link/Linksys; Design not the most subtle
Only a few short years ago, ASUS was a relative unknown in the consumer networking marketplace, a marketplace which was dominated by only a few key major players. This near-monopoly set the cost of entry absurdly high and pushed many consumers towards lower level products.
