Good game

I got it for 198/- . I blindly purchased because of the price. Later I found that no where I can get the game for this price. I am happy with the game and with the price too ;) If you get to know the tricks in the game, it is most wonderful game and tactical.

As good as the original!

I felt the original Enemy Unknown was one of the best games ever made, on any platform, so I was holding this title to high standards. I have not been disappointed. Despite being turnbased, the combat is fluid and tense, with every decision potentially meaning life and death for your soldiers.

Fantastic Strategy Game! Faithfully Remade.

This game is incredibly addicting and very well executed by Firaxis. If you're a fan of strategy games of any kind, I highly recommend picking up a copy of this. Great for gamers into science fiction books or movies like Aliens or Men in Black.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown

was my all-time favourite strategy game. When it was announced that the game was coming back, and heading to PS3, in late 2012 I was overjoyed, and that only increased when Firaxis (current developers of

XCOM: Enemy Unknown

Considering the importance of the mission, there aren't very many people working at XCOM. I know because not only did I hire them, but I spent a few minutes to customize each and every one. I tell them what I want to be researched and they make the weapons that keep the Earth safe.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown

Updating a classic strategy game without rankling fans of the original can be a tricky business, but Firaxis, the studio behind the Civilization series, takes a calculated risk with its remake of X-COM.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown review

Firaxis' reboot of XCOM, Enemy Unknown, is one of the most logically sound alien invasion games you'll ever play. It accepts that if extraterrestrials were to invade the earth, it wouldn't be a single soldier in a suit of armor that fights them off by blasting his way through their defenses.

Satisfying; difficult tactical battles; The lengthy campaign and robust multiplayer; Incredibly deep customization

Camera and control problems; Random difficulty spikes; Watching your loved ones die to incredibly bad luck

Relive the despair of permadeath on the go

A hallmark of excellence. It may have some flaws, but they are negligible to what is otherwise a supreme title.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown PS3 Review

Real Time Strategy games have become somewhat of a rarity these days, seemingly put aside in favour of more action focused experiences. Take XCOM itself for instance, which was set to get a run and gun FPS re-imagining until an outpouring of complaints from fans resulted in the developer attempting...
