Western Digital My Passport

Western Digital's My Passport is a portable hard drive that goes big on storage and slashes features back to the bare essentials. It packs oodles of capacity into it's compact, plasticky body, though, and its 2TB capacity providing 1.8TB of formatted space.

Western Digital My Passport Pro 2TB

The Western Digital My Passport Pro is a portable RAID array with a Thunderbolt port. Sadly, the My Passport Pro only has a Thunderbolt Port; there's no USB port, so you'll need a computer with a Thunderbolt port if you want to use it.

The Western Digital My Passport is a small, portable hard drive with a huge capacity - 2TB to be precise (that's 2000GB). No larger than a standard Passport drive with dimensions of 111x82x21mm, the unit is connected via a USB 3.0 cable that's also backwards-compatible with the more common USB 2.0.

Fast and Good Looking! Worth every penny!

Western Digital's own product description (above) gives an accurate, no-exaggeration summary of this hard drive and I really can't take any issue at all with the claims they make for it.

Excellent HDD. Fast and efficient!

I have purchased this drive a week ago, as I needed to format my laptop and urgently needed something to put my documents on. The drive worked flawlessly. Connectivity was without any problems and the speed was great (acheived over 100MB/s for large file transfers).

Excellent

I have connected this HDD to my network server and the family can upload photo's,music, films & documents they wish to share. Can also download to any device from the internet with plenty of room for films. Quick upload time with USB 3.

"Western Digital Has The Drive"

I am A big computer user and I do a lot of downloading of movies and music, my computer hard drive is 300 gb and I only had 20 gb left, it was enough to run my computer and keep it up to peak(ish) performance but that meant that I couldn't download anymore stuff.

Big capacity; small; convenient

can crash if handled to rough

A stylish hard drive that processes fast, requires no power and fits in your pocket

I am constantly being asked about my red Passport. I use it at work every day and keep loads of different kinds of files on it, which are being updated all the time. I have had absolutely no problems with it at all and I've had it about a year now.

Western Digital My Passport Essential 120 GB

Great portable storage. USB power is nice though it needs a powerful USB and sometimes the Y USB cable for dual USB power. I've dropped mine on wood before and hasn't broken. Easy to replace internal drive if it fails.

Awesome little drive!

I have had this for a couple of months now and can't fault it. Its a small compact device but with 2TB, definately worth the price tag! Its sits nicely hidden behind my laptop and I can take it with me wherever I go if needed.
