I've been using WD My Books for years. I no longer use a 4 TB drive simply because I needed to upgrade to higher capacities. I used my 4 TB drive for about 2 years and it was still working when I gave it away a few years later. I've never had a WD drive fail on me, unlike Seagate.

Good and fast work. but never place it vertically. Always put it on its side when it works. If it suddenly falls to the side you will lose your data !!
