I would recommend this drive. It may not be quite as fast as the 7200 but it runs cool and quiet.

Works great really. I cloned my old Sata II HDD to this one as the older one started to show some bad sectors on chkdsk. This one seems a lot faster, runs cooler and looks great! Currently I have it installed inside my laptop and the general experience is very nice till now.

Bought to fit inside a USB 3.0 caddy, to be used as a Synology NAS backup drive. Works excellently

Great product from WD, it is indeed a 7 mm thick one (confusing as PB Tech also have 9.5 mm in description). Shipped very quickly, Thanks PB Tech. The only downside is that the HDD came in a pouch with no srews or anything else.
