This is the first monitor I’ve bought for gaming and general use and it works perfectly! Would definitely recommend!

I've only had it running for a couple days but it suits me to a "T".
This is a nice and inexpensive monitor, but the controls seem to be overly complicated for someone just using it as a monitor. It has multiple presets and you can save your configurations. But it seems like every time I turn it off it forgets the saved settings.
I was expecting worse based on online reviews, so was pleased when colours, bleeeding etc all seem better than ok. Great friendly service from the team at the new building as well.

Does what it says on the box simple, nice monitor and works great, also no dead pixels as other lab have said and yes the stand does wobble but long as you not banging your desk that's not a problem
This monitor has a very good picture for the price it's worth it
I would recommend this monitor for anyone on a budget looking to use freesync or as a basic monitor as it ticks off both of those boxes very well. The TN panel in it is a nice one but to achieve a lover price Viewsonic seems to have included lesser features such as those listed above in the cons...
I upgraded to this monitor from a 20 inch panel from a few years ago; Compared side to side this monitor has far superior color and contrast; Freesync works via display port; It was very easy to attach the stand and the speakers are good enough for web browsing and windows sounds (what they were...
The glossy finish shows everywhere you touch; The stand is wobbly (as expected for a monitor of this price), the buttons are on the rear making it a little difficult to use them at first, and the trim around the screen is a little thick by today's standards.
Great Monitor, Good contrast and colour. easy to use and best of all it's freesync enabled (although I had to buy a DP cable) if anything instead of an HDMI and VGA cable it should have come with an DP cable otherwise it's a perfect monitor for my needs
It's easy to look at a market filled with 4K and curved screens and assume that you have to spend hundreds to get a decent panel, but ViewSonic's VX2457-MHD banishes that notion with an entertainment-friendly brief and a tempting £136 price.
Decent core benchmark results; AMD FreeSync included; Good input lag speeds
Poor uniformity; Wobbly stand; Awkward OSD navigation
