An affordable, standard capacity flash solution with a lifetime warranty, today Tyler gives us a rundown on Transcend's JetFlash 790 pen drive.

It does exactly as expected, service was good and fast.

You will not be disappointed if you are looking for something to fidget with. The blue toggle that extends the USB connector resembles a turtle extending it's neck out of it's shell. A soothing site to see. As for the data speeds, I am no engineer, but this USB is transfers files faster than I come.

The flash drive works fantastic. I have used it both in Mac and Windows computers with no problems going between the two. It is a very reasonable price for the amount of memory it has. I use this for transferring data between computers and work with it at home an in the office.

Shows a write speed of 44 MB/sec and a read speed up to 131 MB/sec. ( see attached ATTO Benchmark )

Transcend - make these in green, red, and even yellow!

Speedout and Flashbench rate it at about 72 Mb/Sec write and 100 Mb/Sec read; The slide lock is positive and it is narrow and thin; It looks like the front is going to be resistant to cracking as there are no seams; The LED activity light is a nice blue; I highly recommend this drive.

I wish I'd have gotten the 64B; I will if they offer it in another color

This is my 2nd Transcend 128 GB USB drive. They are super and I store all my important files on them.
