My goal was a sharp wide angle for my Nikon D7200. I am familiar with the build quality of Tokina lenses, owning the 24-70 f2.8, the 70-200 f4, and the 12-28 f4. The good. The optics are super sharp and little CA, almost zero fringe. Sharp at f2 and super sharp anything above, no complaints about image quality. Now the bad. AF, autofocus isn't completely silent but that isn't really the issue, with my Nikon D500 it just won't focus with any of the outer...

bad technical solution concerning the AF/MF ring; very weak performance against bright light
