This lens is best for portrait type pictures. I took great pictures at a flower show.
Consistent Output; Fast / accurate auto-focus

yes, at the price it is being offered it is cheaper here than it is even in the US. so thats a great buy
Got a good deal because of the disount
As the only 24-70mm f/2.8 currently on the market that has image stabilization (VC as Tamron calls it, or VR in Nikon parlance) this lens is a no-brainer as the best choice for DSLR video. Value is unmatched compared to Nikon's version which is $500 more expensive WITHOUT image stabilization.
Bought this lens instead of the Nikon 24-70 because it has VC and it's less expensive while still being made in Japan. Optically excellent performance, build quality is very good but the switches feel kinda cheap. I also own the Tamron 15-30 VC and I'm very happy with my purchases!
While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present
Apple's latest non-Pro iPhone is superb - it's just that it's strikingly similar to last year's effort.
Still an incredible smartphone, Brilliant battery life gets a bit better, Excellent camera system gets a bit better
Last year’s Pro hardware, Wireless charging slow by modern standards, No USB-C; it’s now well overdue
Bought this Ripper Lens this morning and was shooting this afternoon at my kids sports event. I'm very happy with my choice of lens. After deliberating and watching many comparisons I just had to get this lens for the special price CD's had it at with the 2yr warranty.
Handling and Features Performance Verdict Specification This highly anticipated lens from Tamron covers the popular 24-70mm range with a fast constant aperture of f/2.8. It is one of Tamron's 'SP' lenses, which denotes that it should be able to produce professional quality results.
Good sharpness throughout the range in the centre; Effective Vibration Compensation system; Good value; Good build quality; Moisture resistant construction; Low distortion
Strong falloff of illumination towards the corners at maximum aperture; Drop in contrast at maximum aperture
Tamron's latest zoom lens covers the popular 24-70mm focal length span with a fast maximum aperture that remains at f/2.8 throughout the range. The SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD is designed primarily for cameras with 36 x 24 mm sensors but, being a 'Di' lens, it is usable with APS-C camera bodies.
I saw this lens reviewed and advertised and it seems to be the only alternative to the Nikon 24-70 f 2.8. I really want/need VC (VR), but I doubted that the Tamron optical quality would be acceptable. Up till now, I have only bought Canon or Nikon lenses (not including my view camera lenses).
Simply Better than the Nikon 24-70 f2.8 and much less expensive; Better center sharpness, better corner sharpness, better resistance to flare, better micro-contrast, better color, and of course it has VC as a bonus
Image quality unacceptable in corners, needs to be better; I need better image quality, even if I have to pay more to get it; Bokeh can be objectionable in some situations
