It's definitely faster than the onboard WiFi card but has one serious issue, it could randomly generate Kernel panics in Win10 Pro if it has other USB3 devices hooked up. USB2 devices resulted being far more stable. If not using USB ports, there's no kernel panics until the date. Also, worked on some random USB3 ports, one of the functional ports was detecting the device but not picking up the Realtek chip. Curiously it happened on more than one computer. So try different USB port if it doesn't work in the first one you tried. If not that, it would've been a nice alternative to the onboard Ethernet. I recommend this product anyway.
