I was dubious when I saw the price, but for a network with 4 networked printers and 5 computers and several network connected entertainment devices I think it's a good value.
Very simplistic installation

bought it two months ago, placed it in my office. not like the DLink switch we chose before, this switch just never hang there, and always fast. I think its just enough for an unmanaged switch.
works well after two months nonstop working; really fast with the gigabit capability more over, really good price
i wish its smaller; cuz i like the small switch
Excellent switch for home or small office. There is no set up other than physically plugging everything needed into it. The added brackets allow for insertion in a 19 inch rack and are designed to fit well at both ends.
Quiet.; no fan noise; Like all good infrastructure, you don't know it's there, it just works
5mm too wide for my network cabinet; Assumed it would be about same size as previous device, but it doesn't fit my cabinet
Well priced rack mountable switch. My only problem is that the power cord comes out of the rear and prevented me from being able to install it in my 30cm deep cabinet. After replacing the cord with one that had a 90deg plug end I was able to get it to fit. Read more
I've been buying TP-Link products for several years now and have had excellent results, so is it just me, or has TP-Link crept their prices upwards since debuting in America Not outrageously so, but this switch was more than I expected.
Metal housing; Rack-mountable; Internal power supply; Plug-n-Play, no management or configuration required; Auto-sensing ports, no worries about Ethernet terminations; Runs quite cool and silently; Power-saving features
Connection LED indicators are not paired with each port, but are instead grouped into a display area off to the left side; Price seems a bit high for an imported, 16-port unmanaged switch, but not unreasonably so
Plugged in cables, switched on. It worked and has continued working ever since with no issues. I don't push the speed hard so can't say if throughput is as expected.
Does everything it needs to do--I am using it in my residence and have no complaints after several weeks.
Had D-Link 8-port (which cost twice as much), needed additional ports. Plugged TP-Link in, worked instantly without any programming. No fan noise, no issues.
Needed to boost the speed of my home network and this little device didi the trick - unpacked and plugged in - simple - no set and working like a charm
