overall its okay

i actually love using this mouse when playing games like cs. The mouse size should be suitable with hands with a length of 18 and a width of 9. Feel wise of the LMB & RMB are both quite good and enough tension to avoid accidental clicks. The mouse wheel feels cheap and weak, its smooth enough for browsing, but it could definitely be made better . My side grips also came off just like the other persons review but my hands dont get sweaty.

previous review is a lie

i luv this mouse and it works way better than any other ive tries , as a true gamer with 40 hours a week gaming and also video editing it leads the way for the price. if you going to bag a product say what it didnt do for you... this is fantastic value for my gaming and editing needs.

Excellent

Started off years ago with a Logitech G500, then a Razer Deathadder, now this. Used this for over a year with no issues. This mouse is so good, I bought a second one during the recent Black Friday sale. Pros: - 6 Programmable buttons (swap functions, create macros) - Easy to use software (don't have to use it if you don't want to) - RGB lighting customization - Lightweight and comfortable - Can be tweaked to suit your playstyle (different DPI, sensitivity, polling rates etc) - Easy to clean Cons: - Right-handed (not really a con for me) - No swappable sensor (again, don't personally see this as a con) Can't recommend this enou...view more

Good Mouse but bad Glue Grip.

I've been using this mouse for a while now. It's honestly a great mouse. Coming from a Razer Deathadder Chroma to Steelseries Rival 700 now to the Steelseries Rival 310. I can conclude that this has been the most gaming mouse I've used so far. The Steelseries program is easy to use, the mouse is lightweight unlike the Rival 700 which was VERY HEAVY. The reason behind me giving it a 4 star is because the grip on the mouse isn't the best. Occasionally the grip would slide off meaning that the adhesive glue that was used to stick it to the mouse isn't very good causing it to just loosen up due to hot weather or something along the lines. I've...view more

Out of all the gaming mice I've owned this is one is the best. So accurate. No jittery-ness that I was struggling with in my old cheap corsair gaming mouse. I'm yet to find use for the side-buttons, but they're also non-intrusive which is a big must-have for me.

Confortable gaming mouse

the mouse is very comfortable, sits well in the hand, slides very well on the mousepad. Maybe a little more weight would have been better but anyway the feeling is excellent

Perfect Mouse, Imperfect Gamer

I bought this mouse to use both in my daily work as well as after-hours gaming. It's a great time. Really gets the job done. Points and clicks like a dream. Let me tell what it doesn't do - it doesn't turn you into a pro-gamer. I can point and click with the best of them, but it definitely hasn't made me go pro. Bottom line - if you want a great mouse at a good price and a really smooth experience, the Steel Series Rival 310 is an excellent choice.

SteelSeries Rival 310 Review

SteelSeries' Sensei series of PC mice, which we've followed and reviewed over the years, are notable for being a family just in name. Their designs are so divergent that they be brothers, but not from the same or even mother. The company's Rival mice, in contrast, clearly have DNA in common. The physical design, software, and under-the-hood electronics of the SteelSeries Rivals bear witness to both kinship and a sense of direction. That isn't to say that some elements haven't shifted over time. But if you look at the older Rival Optical Mouse, or the Rival 700 here… …and then take your first look at the $59.99 Rival 310, you won't be entirely surprised… Similar Products 4.5 Outstanding Razer Basilisk $79.75 See It at Amazon (Opens in a new window) Read Our Razer Basilisk Review 4.5 Outstanding Razer Mamba $119.99 See It at Amazon (Opens in a new window) Read Our Razer Mamba Review ...

This high-end SteelSeries mouse's design, optical sensor, and button switches are great. Only the configuration software—and a hardware elision or two, versus the previous model—keep the Rival 310 a step short of stardom.

Superior optical sensor and light-touch Omron switches; Attractive, light design with solid crafting; Supports acceleration, deceleration, angle snapping

Only two DPI settings; No lift-distance control; Mouse wheel is a stretch for average hands; Rubber-coated cord instead of braided; Macro editor is basic
