One headset that works with all your gaming devices is a lot to promise. But, for the most part, the new Arctis 1 Wireless delivers. If you don’t need something for your iPhone or Xbox, it covers all the bases.
Pros:
- Comfy
- lightweight design
- Connects to anything with a USB-C port
- Removable mic boom
- Good battery life and range
Cons:
- MicroUSB charging
- No Bluetooth wireless
- Sound is a bit flat

Arctis 1 Wireless Headset Review – Wire-Free, Flying Free
If it wasn't clear already, people love to be as comfortable as possible when gaming. Headphones can really push that experience one step further, but finding the right fit for your head is a bit of a gamble.
Pros:

Cons:
- Dongle doesn't work with phone cases
- Headset cups may be too big for some
- Software required for full usage

If the Arctis 1 was twice the price, it would still merit consideration. That it's not only solidifies that this is a headset worth switching too.

The Arctis 1 Wireless is a very easy recommendation, easily worth the £99. It’s a simple design with lovely sound, a good microphone and easy to use software. Can’t ask for much more, apart from maybe a Type-C charging port.

- Solid build quality

Steelseries Arctis 1 Universal Gaming Headset - Black ARCTIS 1 review
There are things I’m not fond of with the SteelSeries Arctis 1 wireless gaming headset. The main one is that the sound is slightly more hollow than other options I’ve tried recently. Secondary is that the earcups could be just a tad larger.
Pros:
- Headband will fit your head
- big or small
- Soft pads on the earcups
- Mic is clear sounding and good for voice chat
- Compatible with many devices
- most wireless
- Easy setup considering its versatility
- Good price for what you're getting in a headset
Cons:
- Lacking bass compared to other high-end options
- Earcups could stand to be a tiny bit bigger

The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless is a highly versatile wireless gaming headset with a ton of excellent features and great sound quality. We saw great battery life, and pricing is extremely reasonable with $100, if you consider everything the Arctis 1 offers.
Pros:
- Great audio performance
- both for music and serious gaming
- Extremely versatile due to an intelligent wireless dongle implementation
- Superbly comfortable
- SteelSeries Engine 3 software is easy to use and filled with useful features
- Excellent microphone sidetone implementation
- Great battery life...
Cons:
- USB-C charging port instead of Micro-USB would be more appropriate
- No way to get accurate information about remaining battery life
- Doesn't support iOS devices

Looking for a wireless gaming headset for Nintendo Switch? Then it isn't difficult to recommend the Arctis 1 Wireless. Despite its dull aesthetic, build quality is both sturdy and flexible.
Pros:

- Audio is surprisingly punchy and clear for the asking price
- Mic is detachable with decent speech quality
Cons:
- Aesthetic is bland and lifeless for the brand
- No surround sound

Looking for a wireless gaming headset for Nintendo Switch? Then it isn't difficult to recommend the Arctis 1 Wireless. Despite its dull aesthetic, build quality is both sturdy and flexible. Audio presentation is loud, clear and distinctive across all the games I played, while the mic proved exceptional during multiplayer sessions across myriad platforms. You should only look elsewhere if the surround sound omission is a deal breaker.

SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless Gaming Headset review: A 4-in-1 USB-C gaming headset
The last time I reviewed a SteelSeries headset was back at the end of 2017 and that was the Arctis 3 wireless gaming headset . They turned out to be pretty awesome and a headset that I used for a good while after.
