Impressive effort with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth your time and cash.

Splatoon 2 doesn't add much to shake up the splat-paint-everywhere formula, but I wonder if it needs to at this point. Splatoon 2 is a much stronger game at launch than its original ever was through its whole lifespan, and for that, is easily one of the best games one can own on the Switch.
I've only recently gotten a Nintendo Switch and this game had me hooked for my entire weekend. It's a definite must have and is totally worth it. Splatting paint all over the place is really more fun and satisfying than you might think it is.
One of the most highly thought of games from the Wii U is, without a doubt, the original Splatoon . Its distinct brand of quick-fire, four vs. four territorial paintball multiplayer, where the objective is to cover the map in as much of your team's ink as possible, turned out to be a winning...
If you're one of the people who never got to play Splatoon on Wii U (and let's face it, there's plenty in that boat) there's a chance you'll fall instantly in love and be blown away by Splatoon 2. Thi
Stunning art style and execution; Exhilarating combat and movement; Plenty of content
Stupid map rotation; Salmon run online is timed; Too much repeated from the first game

Turf War is still awesome; Great new weapon types; Plenty of multiplayer options both online and local
Feels more like a minor upgrade than a sequel; Salmon Run lacks challenge; teamwork; Campaign is better than before; but not enough to sell the game on alone
This second part is great, but I regret that there is more dojo mode, so we can no longer play two. On the other hand, I am very happy to see that Nintendo added the fact that it is not as easy to go down in rank for the pros games.
Overall, Splatoon 2 is definitely an upgrade from the Wii U title. Nintendo showed that it learned from early issues and wanted to make a better overall experience. While there still may be a few small details that need taken care of still, such as the weapon switching in matches, the improvements...
Ordered this for my 8 year old for Xmas as he requested. Not played yet but the other Nintendo Switch games are really good, not too hard but challenging enough to keep them interested.
Splatoon 2 is an action-packed game that reminds me of the combination of paintball and an arcade shooter. I should mention that I never had the chance to play the first Splatoon. So this review is not in comparison to the original, but more so as someone new to the franchise. Since the Wii U had su
