I enjoyed reading your article about the FS5, a camera I recently purchased, but since I am new at video I went with the kit lens. You mentioned that it was not a very good lens, but did not list a lens you would prefer.

This thing is amazing. For under $6k, the tools offered in this compact, lightweight package of a camera are a bargain. The built in Electronic Variable ND is one of the most useful of these tools. The internal 1080p at 4:2:2 is also beautiful. Lot's of customizable buttons and settings galore.

After shooting on DSLR for over 6 years I was finally ready to buy a professional camcorder. This was the best decision I've ever made. No more crazy looking dslr cages with articulating arms going every which way holding a monitor, zoom recorder and lav receiver. It was getting ridiculous!
