With the QX10 attached to my phone, I shot the best images I've ever taken "with my smartphone." The QX10 has image quality on par with other similarly priced point-and-shoots, only using a smartphone.

I think Sony needs to update the app. The app is not stable and cannot delete the photo in the micro sd card. By the way, maybe bluetooth 4.0 connection will be better than wifi.
The color is pretty nice and match the gold iPhone 5s; It works good, gives you a more high quality photo, plus 10x optical zoom for iPhone; If you just save 200M pixels into cellphone, you can easy to share it immediately
It is easy to disconnect or connect slow down if I leave my iPhone 5s just about 30cm far away the len; I do not have NFC, so the wifi password post inside the cap looks stupid and also cannot be change
I'm using it for one month it gets good pics on day, not so good in the night or low light but even much better than any smartphone mean nokia Lumia 1520 or iPhone 5s. For it price I recommend it :)
Works as expected, a nice techy unit, but does not take pics as fast as i would like at times. Overall happy with the device.
It's not often that we review something completely different to the norm, but the new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-QX10 definitely fits that description. The Sony QX10 is officially called a "lens-sensor module", and it's designed to be the perfect partner for your smartphone, rather than a standalone...
Great for fun and maybe serious photography for some people. Light weight and responsive without lag.I use it mainly for fun and instant camera in my pocket.Overall great product to have, I will be going for the higher model soon : )
Easy to Use; Fast Shutter Speed; Great Resolution; Great Zoom; Small / Compact
Average to poor. It does not replace the stand alone phone but does give a better quality photo to work with in Adobe.
Better quality photo; It is OK to work in Photoshop
many times requires two hands to line the camera up to the subject; It is only a backup camers but the ad shouts that it can be a replacement camera; Not true
Entry level camera, lag is an issue for wifi or nfc connectivity though not always. Price is too high for its spec, but I guess for the size, look and coolness that bring the price up.
Easy to Use; Good Battery Life; Great Resolution; Great Zoom; Small / Compact
Complicated Controls; Lag / Shutter Delay; No Viewfinder
We review this smart lens from Sony, the Sony Cyber-shot QX10, designed to be the camera for your phone.
18 megapixel sensor; Wi-Fi and NFC; FullHD video with stereo sound; 10x optical zoom lens; Zoom can be used in videos; Can shoot left or right handed; Better macro performance than most smartphones; Tripod socket
Lacks flash; Lacks focus assist lamp; Limited options and controls (such as ISO; Lacks panoramic or effect shooting; Lacks continuous shooting mode; Lacks dedicated video button; Shooting without the connection is like shooting blind
Sony has torn the photography rulebook in two with the new Sony Smart Lens. Remote shooting via a smartphone app is something that most camera manufacturers now offer, but Sony has gone one step further by producing a device that not only pairs with a smartphone to take pictures, but actually...
