Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Lens Review (Canon Mount)
Overall, not a bad thing can be said about Sigma ‘ s 35mm f1.4 EX. The company surely put a lot of time and effort into the design and it ‘ s worth every penny. The lens is sharp as a razor, a relative speed-demon when it comes to focusing, and has some beautiful image quality.
Pros:
- Cost of Sigma lens vs
- cost of Canon, Nikon or Zeiss lens, Great image quality, Optional USB dock to update firmware, Fast autofocus speed

sharp!
this lens is better than the canon's 35mm 1.4L, period. it's sharper across the aperture range, focuses just as fast (if not a tiny bit faster), the build quality feels great. i've owned the canon 35L and had both at the same time before letting the L glass go.

Nice lens! Good job, Sigma!
This is a very good prime lens for portrait, street shooting, and some landscape. Works fine on my Nikon D700, but need to adjust focusing with +15 fine tuning, not bad at all! Image quality is super good, someone said it is even better than 35G, which is $500 more expensive than this one!

Excellent third party lens
I bought this for my canon 6d and I couldn't be more satisfied with the pictures I've been producing with it. This is a great value and I've had a lot of fun shooting with it for the past few weeks.

Just amazing!!
-Great for Portraits -Great for Landscapes-Great for studio use/ small spaces-nothing to complain about on this lens! The bokeh is amazing! The autofocus works fast and great on the 5D3!

best prime lens ever All my reviews
I always regarded Sigma as being a cheaper third party lens. This lens is quite possibly the best prime lens I own. I have several brand name high end prime lenses that perform well but nowhere near as superb as this.

SIGMA 35mm F1.4 DG HSM Lens for CANON
good lens. sharp-wide open even at 1.4 with less vignetting at the corners but is still acceptable. much cheaper to the older Canon 35mm f1.4 L.

Classy Lens..
I was always told, 'You get what you pay for' and this lens is no exception! I've used the lens at f2.8, 4 and 8 and could not tell the difference in picture quality or sharpness across all apertures. Ok, so the lens is a bit bulky, but that's because it contains a serious amount of glass!
