Nice lens! Good job, Sigma!
This is a very good prime lens for portrait, street shooting, and some landscape. Works fine on my Nikon D700, but need to adjust focusing with +15 fine tuning, not bad at all! Image quality is super good, someone said it is even better than 35G, which is $500 more expensive than this one!

This lens is part of Sigma's Art line. A fast 35mm/f1.4 lens is an excellent tool for available-light photography indoors or at night outdoors, especially on the full 35mm-film frame (24×36mm sensor, which Nikon refers to as the FX format).

Excellent third party lens
I bought this for my canon 6d and I couldn't be more satisfied with the pictures I've been producing with it. This is a great value and I've had a lot of fun shooting with it for the past few weeks.

The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 is unlike any of the Sigma lenses we have seen in the past. I must applaud Sigma for stepping up and challenging the big brands, by spending their resources on engineering new generation lenses with amazing optics – all at a great value.

Just amazing!!
-Great for Portraits -Great for Landscapes-Great for studio use/ small spaces-nothing to complain about on this lens! The bokeh is amazing! The autofocus works fast and great on the 5D3!

best prime lens ever All my reviews
I always regarded Sigma as being a cheaper third party lens. This lens is quite possibly the best prime lens I own. I have several brand name high end prime lenses that perform well but nowhere near as superb as this.
