very satisfied. my regular walk around lens in a new city
very sharp lens. Great for walk around and street photography. Sharpness intact even after cropping. great capture in low light because of the f 1.4. Feels great to hold and premium finish. Paired with my Nikon D750 it works just great.

Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM Art
At the time of its launch in 2013, the Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM Art ($899) was a revelation. As the first full-frame prime lens in the company's Global Vision Art series it made a big impact, undercutting other f/1.4 lenses in price without sacrificing image or build quality.
Pros:
- Very sharp
- Wide aperture
- Attractive price
- Available for multiple camera systems
- Solid build quality
- Eligible for mount conversion
Cons:
- Heavy vignette effect
- Omits image stabilization
- Not the best option for ultra-high-resolution cameras

Better get extra "medical" insurance because this lens is SHARP!
I bought this to shoot weddings - it takes a bit to get adjusted from the versatility of a 24-70 but once you do you don't want to change lens even when you know / you're taught in some cases you should be using a longer lens! At F/2.8 it's almost TOO sharp! But vignetting is heavy wider than f/2...

Great lense. Large F-stop are so useable compare to my other f1.8 lense
Great product, I recommend those who want best in class image quality to get this lenses. I needed to shoot indoor all the time, 35mm is perfect wide angle for indoor use and large apature helps with low light condition. What'd wonderful glass.

Pros:
- High overall IQ
- great AF focus accuracy
- very high build quality for a non-OEM lens
Cons:
- Corner falloff wide open
- focuses in the opposite direction of Nikkor lenses and lack of weather sealing gasket on lens mount

AF did not work at all when the lens was shot on a D800E for the first time. After searching the internet for help I learned that the lens must be sent to Sigma together with the camera. The lens will then be adjusted to the specific camera individually without any charge.
Pros:
- Excellent ultra-sharp images even at max aperture
- High resolution and contrast
Cons:
- Needs service before used for the very first time
- No aperture ring

Best lens I've owned
This is an amazing lens. So sharp even at 1.4. Solidly built. I'm have a nikon d610 full frame and the rest of my lenses are nikon and this is far superior in imaging quality and build

Classy Lens..
I was always told, 'You get what you pay for' and this lens is no exception! I've used the lens at f2.8, 4 and 8 and could not tell the difference in picture quality or sharpness across all apertures. Ok, so the lens is a bit bulky, but that's because it contains a serious amount of glass!

good lens. sharp-wide open even at 1.4 with less vignetting at the corners but is still acceptable. much cheaper to the older Canon 35mm f1.4 L.

The first time I used this lens, I was a bit dissapointed. I could find the sharpness like my 35 1.4L. The reason was that my art had e terrible backfocus of +18 on my 5D MK3's. After Sigma calibrated my lens, I had a nother lens!
Pros:
- Sharpness after calibration Bokeh Color Fast AF
Cons:
- Nice build but scratches quick | Sigma hasn't the quality control as Canon No service for professionals like CPS from Canon
