I haven't fully used it, yet. I did try to capture an eagle and got nothing but blur. Perhaps operator error. Still working out the kinks.

I have had this lens for a few days now. So far I am loving it. I have posted a full review on my blog with a bunch of sample images with 100% crops of Australian Wildlife.

I can't begin to brag about enough about this lens. I bought the Canon EF version and use it with the Sigma MC-11 Adapter on my Sony A6300. Great AF and Stability Control performance.
Although Tamron pioneered the release of the first 150-600mm lens, Sigma followed suit by releasing two versions of lenses with exactly the same focal length and aperture ranges.
Rented for 4 days from Lensrental.com, $67.91, shot lots of hiking/wildlife/nature/zoo pix, almost all hand-held (on Canon 70D). I'm no bodybuilder but had no problem with weight - when walking the support came from my Kinesis (kgear.com) chest-worn holster, ideal for support and quick-draw action...

While it may not be obvious from the charts, the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary surprised us in a positive way - at least when taking its comparatively low price tag into account. Yhe lens is generally capable of delivering a good to very good quality in the image center.
This is a very popular lens for our bird photographers, although it is not for the faint hearted and you will need to consider a tripod/monopod.
