Good sound. Slightly clunky interface on the earphones and in app
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 is a pricey pair of earbuds, but with rich sound, active noise-cancelling and great design, you won’t regret what you spend. If sound quality is most important to you, the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 will not disappoint.
Superb sound, Comfortable fit, ANC and transparency modes, Customizable EQ
Short battery life, Mediocre call quality
The sound quality, battery life, and design of the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 are nothing short of excellent, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an alternative to the Sony WF-1000XM3.
Incredible sound; Sleek design; Support for Hi-Res Audio
May be uncomfortable for smaller ears; More expensive than rivals
Sennheiser has successfully addressed all my complaints about their first true wireless model. The fit is more ergonomic, the battery life is infinitely longer and the technical design flaws have finally been fixed. The sound is the same, but the Momentum sound signature needed no improvement.
Sennheiser‘s Momentum True Wireless were among the first to prove you could strive for more. The headphones looked nice, had solid connectivity, blocked ample outside noise, and perhaps most importantly, sounded better than almost any competition. But they had their flaws too.
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 are Bluetooth in-ear headphones. They're the next generation of the Sennheiser Momentum True Wi...
We’ve mentioned plenty of other great headphones to consider in this review. Those include Apple’s AirPods Pro and Sony’s WF-1000XM3 , both of which offer clear sound and stellar noise cancellation for less, as well as Master and Dynamic’s MW07 Plus , which cost the same, but offer a slightly more...
Glorious sound; Noise cancellation; Customizable controls
Battery could still be better; Not as rugged as we'd like
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 are a great set of high-end true wireless earbuds that tick most boxes. They sound fantastic, particularly if you are a fan of clean, controlled and highly detailed sound.
With their first attempt at the end of 2018 , ever-reliable German audio brand Sennheiser produced the best pair of true wireless earbuds I had used up to that point. So I was understandably excited to try the second generation when they were announced earlier this year .
Audio quality Rich, punchy, balanced sound — you'd expect no less from Sennheiser and they deliver the goods; ANC Decent noise cancellation, especially for earbuds of this size, coupled with good passive isolation.
Lack of independence Since it's the master, you can only listen to the right earbud by itself; Case Comparatively large and without wireless charging, although it is very well made; Price $300 is still a lot to pay, even for some of the best true wireless earbuds around.
The thing is, who doesn’t like good sound. And that is what most earbuds do and do well. But there are very few that take the next step, from the zone of good sound, to the one where they pretty much set the benchmark.
