Sharp focus, was surprised at the quality of the images given the price. Was debating this or a super wide angle and I am glad I went with this lens.
I use this lens on a Nikon D90 and a D7100. It is sharp sharp sharp!!! This is not an autofocus lens so just set the lens focus at 3' and leave it there. That ensures you get from very close all the way to infinity. If you're using a Nikon ...get the Samyang with the auto chip.
This is a great lens, especially for the money. You could pay much more, and get a technically better lens, but who cares about edge clarity with the distortion inherent in a fisheye?
