Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE review: Second best
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is a great phone in many ways. It has a solid design, excellent camera and decent everyday performance. The displays are fantastic too, and Samsung’s software experience is one of the best in the business.
Pros:
- Solid design, Lovely main display, Excellent main camera, Good everyday performance
Cons:
- Underwhelming battery life, Cover screen could be better, Slow charging

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is the clamshell we really didn’t need
The first Fan Edition foldable sticks closely to Samsung's established formula - but not always for the better
Pros:
- Front camera duo are capable in most situations, Streamlined, sturdy build, Arrives with the latest Android version, and has great long-term support
Cons:
- Not as good as the Flip 6, which is still on sale – and for less cash, Sub-par battery life and charging speeds, Outer screen is second-best for functionality

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Review
The Flip 7 FE is a good phone, and the cheapest foldable in Samsung’s range – but it doesn’t represent great value. As a slightly downgraded Flip 6 in a world where the fabulous Flip 7 exists, it somehow feels expensive.
Pros:
- Well-built and compact, Solid camera set-up, Comprehensive software with long support
Cons:
- It’s the Flip 6, but worse, Overpriced given that fact, Cover display below par
