I am by no means a hardware expert, but I'll do my best to tell you about my experiences with the Razer Seiren X microphone. This year has been a crazy adventure for me with trying to find the perfect set up after my favorite headset started falling apart.
Good price point; Small; sleek design; Easy to travel with; Good sound quality
Sound quality takes some tweaking; Will pick up mechanical keyboard strokes
_but it exists.
The gear gods have been advocating it for years, and pro streamers couldn't do their job without it. But going with a dedicated desktop mic for gaming is still a bold move in 2019 despite its obvious benefits: higher broadcast quality than headset mics, a broader choice of headphones, and a 'pro...
Great high-end reproduction; Competitively priced; Easy to setup; Portable
Bass and low mid-range not the best we've heard; Only one polar pattern; Picks up keyboard clicks
Clear voice chat, great for streaming and casual play. Easy to set up the device, and features are cool. Only problem, may pick up unwanted background noise
I would recommend if you just wanna have a better overall mic and aren't too serious about tech specs, hardcore streaming, and just want people to hear you loud and clear whether on video games. or whatever else you would use this for.
I am no expert in microphones, but I wanted some that sounds good when I game; I checked out Blue Yeti, and a few others and even though they all sounded great, I went with this microphone because of its compact size.
you can hear some typing in the background when using the mic, and I use a mechanical keyboard; however, it's nothing that will deter the listener from hearing what you are saying; other than that, it works perfectly for what I need it for
The first feeling was a disappointment, did not feel like any further quality, very plastic and easy. Bought it because I was looking for a slightly narrower variant than Blue Microphones Yeti / Snowball. The sound is ok, it's good at Blue Microphones.
Mic works great. Easy to use, just so plug it in and it's ready to go. The compact size is really nice. I had a blue yeti previously and it was too big for me and took up a lot of space. The mic looks really clean and sleek as well.
