The keyboard is amazing. It's definitely worth the money and is overall great quality. It's a little expensive but with that you pay for quality and quality is what you get
Regardless of whether you go with the Razer Huntsman or Huntsman Elite, Razer’s keyboard offering is the best I have experienced to date. If you can ignore the fact that it has extremely loud keystrokes (something I personally love), the Huntsman is the perfect PC gaming keyboard no matter what...
I'm extremely picky about mechanical keyboards. Had to try this one with the promise of fast optical switches, and it really is amazing. It's sensitive and takes a bit of getting used to, but it's so responsive and consistent, I love it.
This keyboard is beautiful. The media controls are perfect. The wrist rest feels luxurious. The laser keys are a neat addition to mechanical keyboards. So where does this product go wrong I have had several issues where the laser keys were sticking (!!!
GOOD: The switches on this keyboard feel great, and I highly recommend it as a typing keyboard. The click combined with low activation pressure make it a great keyboard for reduced-hand-fatigue typing. It does an OK job as a gaming keyboard, but linear clickless red switches are still better.
Razer's Huntsman Tournament Edition is a solid twitch-response keyboard for competitive players comfortable prioritizing gaming over typo-free typing.
Light, compact design; Optical switches are accurate and have hair-trigger actuation; Detachable cable enhances portability.
Featherlight actuation can lead to lots of typing mistakes.
Portable and powerful, this is a serious keyboard for serious gamers.
Durable but compact build; Ultra-sensitive optical keys; Doubleshot PBT keycaps
Lacklustre lighting; Terrible for typing
In an extravagant ideal world this responsive gaming keyboard would by my second string slab, held over purely for gaming. Because for everything else it's a source of potential frustration.
Once you have gotten used to the Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition, you’ll find that it’s actually a pretty okay keyboard which we will give it a 6.7 out of 10. Compared to the Huntsman and Huntsman Elite during its initial release, the Huntsman Tournament Edition was given a much more favorable...
Clean and simple design; PBT doubleshot keycaps; Standard ANSI layout with standard bottom row; Detachable cable design for better mobility; Supports most of the Cherry MX keycaps; The opto-mechanical switch provides a more uniform key travel; Less tendency for key chattering to happen; Can toggle...
Price is slightly on the higher side; Limited key rollover (6KRO or 10KRO); Keycap started to shine in just a week of usage; Longer keys feel odd when bottomed
