Backbeat Go2 Review

After spending quite a while reviewing wireless earphones (not over the ear headphones) I opted for these over the more expensive Jaybird Bluebuds. The build quality is good as you would expect with Plantronics. I use these whilst exercising.

Plantronics BackBeat GO 2 Wireless Earbuds Review

The Plantronics BackBeat GO 2 Wireless Earbuds are the follow-up to the company's successful BackBeat GO wireless earbuds. This time around, however, Plantronics put even more features into the mix, that truly raise the bar for wireless audio products.

Worked great but died right after the warranty period I did squeezed a lot of life out of this as I used this everyday for about 2-3 hours. Battery life didn't depreciate much but I only got to use this for 1 year before it died on me.

When I lost one of the ear piece during the warranty; plantronics shipped me a replacement

1 side of the headphones no longer work,; Failed on me 1 month after the 1 year warranty; Plantronics would not reply my email

Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 review

Plantronics is aiming to be a market leader in wireless earbuds with the BackBeat Go 2 , and the second generation model is a significant improvement over its predecessor. The BackBeat Go 2 earbuds produce decent quality sound for a reasonable price, but we still long for improved battery life and...

Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 Review

Buying an audio product requires balancing your priorities for sound quality and price. If you can spend a lot on a pair of headphones, they're probably going to sound great (with certain distinctions between the models). If you can't spend a lot, you're going to have to compromise certain aspects of sound quality. For less than $100, you can't expect a Bluetooth headset with powerful bass. However, you can get a pair of comfortable in-ear earphones with very good mid- and high-end sound quality. The Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 are the follow-up to last year's Editors' Choice BackBeat Go($95.99 at Amazon), and at $79.99 without a charging pouch or $99.99 with a charging pouch, they offer an even better value and an incremental upgrade over the previous model. DesignThe BackBeat Go 2($28.99 at Amazon) is nearly physically identical to the original Backbeat Go with a few small changes. It's still a pair of earbuds on a short, flat, tangle-free cable with an in-line remote and microph...

The Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 stereo Bluetooth headset is a small but welcome upgrade to the previous BackBeat Go, and offers a great value despite its light bass output.

Useful design touches; Inexpensive, even with optional battery charging pouch; Solid midrange and high-end response

Weak bass; Microphone picks up street noise

Sweatproof as advertised--short battery life.

I exercise vigorously for more than 1.5 hours every day and I am a heavy sweater--when I run on a treadmill, I have to clean three treadmills when I am through. I have gone through half a dozen pair of bluetooth headsets and this version is the BEST by far with respect to being waterproof.

I h8 buds - except these ones

Enable one to exercise while listening to music podcasts despite "ambient noise" in the gym. First day I used them I was on a treadmill 15 feet from a workout in "the Zumba Room" and all I heard was the 1812 overture !

Easy Controls; Easy Paring; Great noise cancelling; Great Sound

But They Do Fall Out; Falls Off/Out Of Ear
