Plantronics BackBeat Go 2

Buying an audio product requires balancing your priorities for sound quality and price. If you can spend a lot on a pair of headphones , they're probably going to sound great (with certain distinctions between the models).

Useful design touches; Inexpensive, even with optional battery charging pouch; Solid midrange and high-end response

Weak bass; Microphone picks up street noise

Seriously?!

I suspect that anyone that gave these headphones a good rating must have been using a different product. First, the sound quality is thin and shrill, especially on calls. If you are looking for volume to drown out conversation or street noise, move on.

Thin; shrill sound and useless for calls out in public

Plantronics' BackBeat Go 2 stereo Bluetooth headset improves on the original

When I reviewed the original Plantronics BackBeat Go stereo Bluetooth headset back in 2012, I said it was easy to see how the product could be improved and that the next version of the BackBeat Go would be better and easier to recommend for what it cost ($79.99).

The lightweight; reasonably priced; wireless stereo headset improves upon the Go 1; with better sound quality and a sweatproof design; The step-up; includes a protective case that has a built-in battery for charging on the go

Battery life isn't great (4.5 hours); no carrying case included unless you buy the BackBeat Go 2 + Charging Case ($20 more)

Sound great; Charging case; Sweat resistant / water resistant; ControlTalk with Microphone; Comfortable; Durable; Affordable

Plantronics BackBeat Go 2

Like its predecessor, the Backbeat Go 2 is a sports oriented, behind the head, Bluetooth headset that blurs the line between functionality and comfort. Improving upon its predecessor with the inclusion of the water resistant P2i technology, the Go 2 also sports Bluetooth 2.1 compatibility a...

I h8 buds - except these ones

Enable one to exercise while listening to music podcasts despite "ambient noise" in the gym. First day I used them I was on a treadmill 15 feet from a workout in "the Zumba Room" and all I heard was the 1812 overture !

Easy Controls; Easy Paring; Great noise cancelling; Great Sound

But They Do Fall Out; Falls Off/Out Of Ear

I purchased this headset to go with my new iPhone 3. I listen to books and music a lot on my phone, so I have been using the ****** ***** white earbuds connected by a long cord to the phone. I had hoped this stereo bluetooth would be a more attractive option.
