This is my first DA prime lens, and I can't speak enough of this lens in the last month or so I have purchased this. First of all, I can get closer to subjects for a more dramatic composition.

Great Lens. I am still getting use to it, I have only had baseline lenses before...it is suprisingly heavy and I need to get use to the weight. Takes Amazing Pictures!!! I can't state this enough.

Pentax has given its 35mm f2.8 Macro a Limited Edition designation, which indicates that it ought to be something a bit different...

By varying pathways, my friend Carl Weese and I both found ourselves photographing with new Pentax K20D 's and one particular lens, the then-brand-new SMC Pentax DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited.

Might be my most used lense in my bag, and I have the three amigos (31ltd, 43ltd, 77ltd). I jokingly call this lense my 4th Amigo. I bought this lense for it's macro capability. Anyone doing so needs to remember to get 1:1 you are going to be just 1-2" from the front element.

This lens is a joy to look at, hold and use. It produces stunning images that are so sharp with truly rich colour rendering. When compared to the competion this Limited lens is incredibly small. The perfect match for a K5. It is the third Limited lens I have and they are all beautifully engineered.

I brought this lens as I was not happy with the other brand of macro lens that I had. This lens is brilliant, it has improved my macro shots and it works extremely well with my Pentax K-5 I like the fact that it is small, so it is easier to use if you don't own or forgot your a tripod

Sharpest tool in my bag. Great for macro and as a prime 35mm lens.
