Good little lens

I use my mirrorless camera primarily for street photography, since it is less conspicuous than a DSLR with zoom or telephoto lens. I love the size of the lens, very compact and light. The zoom is smooth and easy, and the autofocus is quick.

Poor in Low Light

I am amazed that the overall rating for this lens is not higher. Next to the 01 it is the star of the Q lens line up. Except for the slower focusing of the Q this lens would compete favorably with equivalent DSLR lenses.

Not much negative; focus ring is annoying but usable

Very satisfied with this lens.

Lightweight and compact. Internal zoom mechanism so no extension when zooming. Produces sharp images at the full aperture of f2.8. Aperture of f2.8 throughtout the zoom range.Good close-up ability at full zoom, for example flowers shots.

Love this lens - if you have a Q, using this as a pseudo macro and for when I need more reach, this lens provides excellent image quality. Really nice for concerts too as most security guards will let you in.

Twice the price in 'treasure island' UK to Japan

You don't feel the money has gone into the build quality which feels plasticky and delicate. Optical quality is good but you need to take the time to learn how to use it properly.
