The Panasonic 20 1.7 Lens Review for Micro 4/3 – I am back again with another lens review and this time it is one that I have had some real fun shooting for the past 3+ weeks on a daily basis. This review should be simple, right? Possibly the simplest I have ever written. Why you ask?
The Panasonic Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 ASPH is an interesting little being. The center image quality is nothing short of phenomenal. The borders are slightly worse but still very good level and that's straight from f/1.7.

if 40mm field of view is your thing, you've got nowhere else to go in the M4/3 system. optically, i had to just 'get over' the whole distortion and CA auto correction issue. so i did good god this thing is sharp.

This Lumix G ‘pancake' lens is normally sold with the new Panasonic GF1 camera, but it's also available separately if you've bought the GF1 with the alternative 14-42mm kit lens, or if you already own a Panasonic G1 or GH1 camera. But who would want to swap a zoom for a fixed focal length lens?
