We compare the two Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 lenses to see if there are any additional benefits with the new version II lens.
Same excellent image quality as the original; Improved build with metal construction; Slightly improved resistance to flare; Improved design
Same focus system as old lens; Increased price
"Anyone who shoots micro four thirds needs this lens. In fact, anyone who wants a small, amazing quality, versatile prime lens which has a fast aperture and amazing lens qualities needs this lens.
Just purchased this for my OMD E-M5. Pictures look great! It focuses a little slow on this camera but that's to be expected since it's not a Panasonic. I purchased this instead of the Oly. equivalent because this one is sharper.
Compact; Inexpensive
This LUMIX G 20mm F1.7II lens is an update to the original LUMIX 20mm F1.7 pancake lens made popular by Micro Four Thirds system photo enthusiasts because of its razor sharpness and compact size.
I've been using this glass for about a month now. Very sharp (quite noisy while focusing as you will know if you read or watched a single review of it), nicely build and great for traveling due to compact size. I like how f/1.7 separates subject from the background (almost a 3d feeling).
The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.
Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.
Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.
While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present
Slightly better cameras but otherwise, not much of an update - buy the iPhone 14 Pro or switch to Android instead
Better low-light photography, Slightly longer battery life, Action mode gives super stabilised video
The same performance as the iPhone 13, No Dynamic Island or Always-On display, 60Hz screen
Apple's latest non-Pro iPhone is superb - it's just that it's strikingly similar to last year's effort.
Still an incredible smartphone, Brilliant battery life gets a bit better, Excellent camera system gets a bit better
Last year’s Pro hardware, Wireless charging slow by modern standards, No USB-C; it’s now well overdue
