We spent only a short time with the new Lumix S1H, but that was enough to show off the full-frame mirrorless camera's extensive cinema capabilities – and we were suitably impressed.
Up to 6K resolution (4K/60p recording; 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording; V-Log gamma; Dual Native ISO; Dual IS 2 with up to 6.5 stops of stability; Anamorphic shooting support; 24MP stills
None to speak of (yet
The S1H brings the features and feel of Panasonic's GH series to the L-mount full-frame system. It's a compact and affordable package if judged according to the standard of its broadcast-grade footage. The rolling shutter figures are worth being conscious of, and the autofocus isn't as impressive as the rest of the camera, but overall it's a superb video tool that will address a wide range of needs.

Run-and-gun shooting requiring perfect autofocus. Enthusiasts looking to dabble in video;

The Panasonic Lumix S1H is not simply a Lumix S1 adapted for video-first shooting. It’s a distinctly different ...
Panasonic’s Lumix GH5, GH5S and G9 are among our favourite video cameras, but Lumix S1H takes it up more than a single notch to offer stupendous performance. 6K video with 10-bit color offers picture quality that is sharp as a tack, with superb low-light performance as well. It’s also the small things that count, from a cooling vent that lets you shoot for hours without worrying about overheating, to an impressive EVF and a flip-out rear display – Panasonic has put a lot of thought into the S1H.
6K 10-bit full-frame capture; Brilliant low-light performance; Dual IS 2 with 6.5 stops of stability; Anamorphic support;
Lacks raw video capture; AF performance not best in class; Large and heavy
Last August Panasonic announced the Lumix DC-S1H Mirrorless Camera Body and the praise & reviews have been steadily rolling in! Since this is more of a video system that can do awesome stills, vs a still camera that can do video, we haven’t dived into the system much yet, but we will!
The Panasonic Lumix S1H is a full-frame mirrorless camera aimed at professional videographers and cinematographers and boasting 6K video at 24p. It’s the third full-frame body in the Lumix S series, and like those models, is based around a full-frame sensor and the L-mount.

“It looks like a still camera, but the S1H is a cinema camera in disguise -- and a very good one.”
