I have owned this lens for 6 months or so and use it professionally in a portrait studio with an E-5. I just cannot say anything bad about it. While it is somewhat large, it is an f2 lens with outstanding sharpness, contrast and color.

My E3 body came with the Zuiko 12-60mm lens, and I couldn't get over the quality of the pictures from that. It's a great lens, with a good focal length, capable of taking stunning pictures. When I bought my E5 body, I looked at this 14-35mm lens.
You might have noticed that this lens costs a lot. That's okay, though, because it's absolutely fantastic. First off, though, it's worth mentioning that this lens is huge. It's heavy and it's big. I find that it feels good on my E-5, but on my E-420 it feels like I'm attaching my body to the lens.

It is absolutely perfect. I love the lens. Yes it is big, both in size and performance. I'm glad I have it and would do it again in a heart beat. Build quality and picture quality are just what I wanted and expected.
I purchased this lens as an upgrade to ZD 12-60mm. While 12-60 is really a great lens, I found that I'm not using it much at long end and it's just f2.8-4, while 14-35mm is a constant f2.0 The images it produces along with the E-5 are sublime, incredibly detailed throughout the frame and at all...
With the new E-5, tested , Olympus turns back to the Four Thirds DSLR format after a two-year push for interchangeable-lens compacts (ILCs). A fitting example of Oly's commitment to the format, this 14–35mm f/2 (a 28–70mm equivalent) is the world's fastest standard-range zoom for DSLRs and well...
My most used SHG lens Only 150/2 are better optically, and maybe 300/2.8 The result is stunning images

Problematic/hunting AF Don′t work well with E-3; had to buy E-30..
Amazing and Stunning Photo's in the entire zoom range!! At F2.0, the pictures are outstanding. The only weak point is that it is not as fast to focus lock in very low light as 12-60mm.
The lens, whilst not small,is not oversized. It's easy to carry and does not make the camera too bulky. I use the lens principally for taking street-portrait shots for a local paper. It focusses quickly and you can trust the image to be sharp.

I bought this lens about six months ago and was verydisappointed with the performance of the auto-focus at wide apertures. It tended to hunt and then expose when not properly focussed with my E3 so I have not used it much, even thought the images produced (with manual over-ride) were startling -...
