Nokia E66

Design At the beginning of the movie RoboCop a regular policeman is covered in shiny metal and becomes a super policeman, a RoboCop, if you will. That's a tremendously watered down version of the tragic start to this film, but in similarly simplistic terms we can see how Nokia has improved last...

Solid and attractive build; HSDPA; Wi-Fi and A-GPS; Excellent productivity tools

Smaller battery compared to E71; Accelerometer can be a nuisance

Clean-cut business tool

It's been a while since mobile phones became an essential business tool and a huge number of devices are being specially designed for the purpose (not even mentioning the camera-free versions of some handsets). Nokia Eseries is almost a default name that comes to mind.

Nokia E66

Boasting the same features as the E71 minus the QWERTY keyboard, Nokia's E66 is aimed at users who aren't hell-bent on large amounts of text entry. This stylish E-Series handset has the same internal characteristics as its big brother in a smaller, more pocketable form factor.

Design; switch mode feature; HSDPA; Wi-Fi; GPS; interface speed

Questionable build quality of slider; native menu isn't as visually appealing as competing models

Nokia E66 review

Like the E71, Nokia's E66 feels well made, but there are significant differences between the two handsets. The E66 doesn't have the same QWERTY keyboard that sits under the E71's screen, preferring to use a sliding numeric keypad instead.

If you don't consider a QWERTY keyboard a necessity, then the E66 is one of the best smartphones on the market.

Nokia E66 review

Nokia has released two very similar Symbian business-oriented smartphones recently, the QWERTY keyboard-packing E71 and this slim slider. The phones have very similar specs – they both run on Symbian 9.2 OS, both have the same 3.2 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and A-GPS, virtually the same on-screen...

Nokia E66 smartphone

Review The next-gen version of the E65 slider is longer, but slimmer, and packs in a 3.2 megapixel camera, push email, HSDPA, AGPS, more memory and better battery life – all in a good-looking package.

Review of Nokia's sexy E66 business smartphone

Nokia's E66 is one of the company's latest additions to its Eseries of business smartphones. The E66 includes features like WiFi, a 3.2 megapixel AF camera, and Nokia's famous S60 web browser. We put it through its paces in this review and like what we find.
