Nikon Z5 Kit (24-70 F4 S) Camera - Brand New review
The Nikon Z5 has an enticing set of specifications for the entry-level full-frame user, especially when you consider just how small the camera is. If you are on the lookout for a fantastic everyday or travel camera, or just like the idea of a smaller than usual camera, then the Z5 is certainly...- Solid handling, Great viewfinder, Small and light
- Limited frame rate for sports and action, 4K video cropped
Nikon Z5 Kit (24-70 F4 S) Camera - Brand New review
The Nikon Z5 is great for landscape photography. It takes clean, detailed photos with plenty of dynamic range to capture a wider array of detail in high-contrast landscapes. It also manages noise levels quite well in low light.- Excellent image quality., Amazing ergonomics., Great battery life., Sturdy and weather-sealed.
- Not especially portable.
Nikon Z5 Kit (24-70 F4 S) Camera - Brand New review
Nikon has done a great job with yet another solid camera release. Although the Nikon Z5 is priced below most other full-frame cameras on the market, it is a very capable tool that can make stunning images, especially when paired with nice lenses.
Nikon Z 5 (Review Nikon Z 5)
A value proposition for photogs going full-frame- 24MP full-frame sensor, 5-axis IBIS, Tilting touch LCD, High-magnification OLED EVF, Dust and splash protection, Dual UHS-II card slots, Works with Nikon F lenses via adapter
- Cropped 4K recording, Autofocus a step behind Canon and Sony, Meager 4.5fps continuous drive, Z lens library still in development, Few third-party Z lenses available
Nikon Z5 Kit (24-70 F4 S) Camera - Brand New review
Nikon has once again done what they still do better than everyone else: they made a great camera at an incredible price, and hardly left anything out.- Incredible image quality, Solid autofocus performance, Rugged build quality, Professional functionality, Comfortable ergonomics, Unmatched value
- Slow speed & viewfinder blackout a deal-breaker for fast action, 4K 30p video crops away the "full-frame advantage"
Nikon Z5 Kit (24-70 F4 S) Camera - Brand New review
The New Nikon Z5 is a very attractive option for photographers on a budget who are looking for a full-frame camera. And in combination with one of Nikon's compact and affordable lenses like the 24-50mm f/4-6.3, it makes for a very compact package that delivers big-camera results.
Nikon Z5 Kit (24-70 F4 S) Camera - Brand New review
The Nikon Z5 is arguably the best bang-for-your-buck stills-oriented camera on the market. Image quality from its 24MP sensor is just tad behind class-leading and much of its design, from the build-quality to the ergonomics, is borrowed from higher-end Nikon Z models.- Just about anyone seeking a well-priced, stills-oriented full-frame mirrorless camera.
- Video shooters. Those wishing to capture super-fast action (in which Z5's 4.5 fps burst may not be quick enough).
Nikon Z5 Kit (24-70 F4 S) Camera - Brand New review
The Nikon Z5 is a great buy for those brand new to full-frame photography, and it has an appealing range of specifications that should suit lots of different type of photographers.- Great handling, Small and tight – especially with kit lens, Excellent viewfinder
- Slow frame rate, Cropped 4K video
Nikon Z5 Kit (24-70 F4 S) Camera - Brand New review
Users of Nikon’s DSLR cameras will find the small and lightweight Z5 has a familiar control layout and its menu is similarly structured. The bright, high-res EVF and touch-screen monitor will also make transitioning to mirrorless easy.
Nikon Z5 Kit (24-70 F4 S) Camera - Brand New review
Nikon's most affordable full format Z camera Nikon Z5 is best in its class in one area, but has some shortcomings and costs too much.- Trustworthy, weatherproof construction, impeccable ergonomics with a sharp viewfinder, lightning-fast autofocus in most cases, and the best still image quality in the class.
- Powerful cropping on 4K video, low shooting rate, the price is almost the same as the Nikon Z6.
