Incredibely fast and sharp, great on DX bodies too, one of the best prosumer lenses Nikon has ever made.

I bought this lens this week to use with a cropped sensor D3500. I've been testing it daily, and I'm blown away by it (blessed be the gentleman from B&H who encouraged me to "step up" to this full frame lens from the DX version I had in mind, he knew what he was talking about.

Yes- buy it.

Very nice lens. Im using it for handheld wildlife photography of larger subjects such as wild turkeys and whitetail deer, and bought it to replace an older 70-200 f2.8 Nikkor lens that had gotten damaged. This lens is much lighter and therefore much easier to lug around the woods.

Amazon messes thinks up way too often!

Product is what I expected, great product. Unfortunately everything that was suppose to be in the box wasn't. It was to include a soft Lens Case, there is none. Called Amazon, they want me to return the entire Lens as they can't send me a case.

Nikon AF-P Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR

Amazing lens. Pulls the images right in close. Wish the speed was a bit better, but for the price you can't beat it.

Nikon AF-P Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR Review

The Nikon AF-P Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR is a sharp, light telezoom lens that's ideally suited for use in bright, outdoor conditions. There are plenty of high-grade pro zooms out there, and there are plenty of entry-level choices for APS-C cameras. But what if your needs are somewhere in the middle? Nikon owners who want a quality telezoom lens that's light enough to take on hikes, and long enough to capture sports and wildlife, should take a look at the AF-P Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6E ED VR ($749.95). It delivers solid sharpness through its range and its lightweight design makes it a pleasure to carry. But it's not your only choice in this arena; the Sigma 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary is also a strong performer if you prefer a lens with a bit more telephoto reach. Design Long zoom lenses aren't physically short. The 70-300mm ($596.95 at Amazon) is no exception, it measures 5.8 by 3.2 inches (HD) and extends in height when zoomed in. The front element is fairly modest, supporting 67mm filters, and a lens hood is included. The real advantage is the light weight—the lens weighs just 1.5 pounds, so it wo...

Nikon AF-P Nikkor 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6E ED VR Lens Review

Nikon launched an intriguing new lens this summer though you might have missed it. For whatever reason, the AF-P Nikkor 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6E ED VR, which was announced the second week of July, slipped under most photographers' radar and that's a shame.

great lens - I'm often sceptical about reviews but this lives up to reviews

Just brilliant - took out the day after it arrived and photographed a deer in the woods - never seen it before - a fantastic coincidence - but the shots were spot on
