It's been a year since Mortal Kombat came back to the fighting game scene and reinvigorated the series. It brought together new and old fans alike together to share in the bloodshed just like the games of the past.

Game: Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition Genre: Fighting Players: 1-4 Developer: NetherRealm Studios, High Voltage Software Publisher: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Rated M for Mature This will be a slightly short review compared to a normal one.
The Mortal Kombat franchise had become a convoluted mess of genres and terrible games right up until the release of MK9 over two years ago, and later with the release of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition in February 2012.
It's been a long time coming, but the PC version of Mortal Kombat is every bit the focused, gruesome, and ludicrously over-the-top fighter as its console counterparts, not to mention the best looking.
One of the most in-depth story modes to grace a fighting game; Revamped control system makes it easy to pick up and play; Even more content to unlock; Challenge Tower minigames and challenges are lots of fun; Viciously brutal moves
Online play suffers from occasional lag and slow matchmaking; Shao Kahn is still incredibly cheap
Moving on PC take about 2 years (too much) but its was worth waiting. The graphic look better then on other consoles but cutscenes are really horrible. Gameplay is great, returning to 2D fighting was right decision.
It's no mystery that 2011's Mortal Kombat is one of the seminal fighting games of this generation. With its impressive roster of characters, lengthy story mode, 300 level challenge tower and more secrets than you can dig up in a haunted graveyard, it's easy to see why Mortal Kombat became a hit with...
If you remember correctly, Mortal Kombat was released for consoles all the way back on April 19th, 2011. Its release was met with immediately jubilation as everyone realized that NetherRealm had finally done it, they created another fantastic Mortal Kombat product.
Fantastic visuals become even more beautiful on the PC; Story mode remains one of the best to ever be told in a fighting game; Tons of variety in the characters; no two characters feel the same; Challenge Tower is a brilliant addition; Entire game holds up tremendously two year after its original...
Very few people playing online; Being forced to play certain characters in Challenge Tower can be a bit discouraging
I can't say anything about the game, but the UK-Version can NOT be activated (on Steam) in Germany ! German customers beware !
I think it got a late release on PC because as with the majority of PC games they are usually released 12 months after they are on console. I already have this on 360 though. With some of the DLC.
