Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Review – PlayStation 4

Monster Hunter World hasn't exactly subscribed to the typical release pattern with its first, last and only paid DLC, Iceborne . Announced soon after the base game found its way to consoles, Iceborne wasn't released until almost 18 months had passed, which is more often the territory of rushed...

Positives + Huge amount of new content + Manages to both build on and compliment original game + Great new visual design

Negatives; A sizeable jump in difficulty for those unprepared

Marvel's Spider-Man - PlayStation 4

It's really a lot of fun. I remember when games were this interesting, fun, great story telling, great character mods. Takes me back and brings me forward as well, i love it!

Just eats up your time!

Bought this the day it came out (confirmed MH fan!) and it did not disappoint! All the stuff that made the old Monster Hunter games so addictive, but now with super easy co-op play, and graphics to die for ( the monsters look especially fantastic) thumbs up from me!

Enjoyable

First time playing the series so was unsure what to expect. Would say it caters more to gamers who like in depth gameplay and mechanics as it does have a learning curve and a little patience to understand the systems implemented. Excellent game and plenty of hours of fun to be had!

One of the best games I've played this generation

MHW is challenging but always fair, and any problem can be overcome with the right tools and enough determination. This game can take over all your free time if you let it (I've played about 300 hours over six months) and the developers have kept new gameplay content coming in regularly, and all...

Monster Fun

This was the first Monster Hunter game I'd played properly and it's a blast. Nice variety of monsters with more on the way and so much content you can stop after the campaign and still feel like you've got your money's worth.

"Must have game."

Awsome battleroyal mode, great multiplayer, just watch out for the sweats. They are hitting pretty hard to prestige up.

Chilling out with Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Monster Hunter has always been a franchise that hooks players with a mercilessly addictive gameplay loop: Make a weapon out of a monster, then use that to beat more monsters into submission so you can make new weapons and pants out of them.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Review

You’ll not only be entertained by Monster Hunter World: Iceborne for hours, but you will be in awe of its complex systems, and how they align so well to create an unforgettable expansion to an already fantastic game.

A rewarding gameplay loop; New monsters are a sight to behold; Easily accessible after the main story;

Significant difficulty spikes; Mechanics can feel overwhelming;
